INTRODUCTORY DIVING

Diving? Why should I be at all interested?

Firstly, you should know that diving really is a very easy thing to do. Essentially all you are doing is breathing under water and looking at fish. You should have no problem breathing as you have been doing it all of your life thus far! On an introductory dive as long as you carry on breathing we will look after everything else for you.

Some people are afraid of the water and the unknown but 70% of the world we live on is water and more species of life on earth live in our oceans than do on our land so you really should have a look. A coral reef is like a different planet and some incredible things live there. Rest assured you'll always have a hand to hold on to if you think you'll need one.

At Reef Safari we pride ourselves on specialising in taking nervous divers and those who never thought they would dive as this is often the most rewarding part of our job - those who are the most nervous are usually the ones who come back with the biggest smiles. Half an hour floating around weightless, surrounded by things you've never seen before with someone who can tell you all about what you have just experienced.
